Practice Areas: Labor and Employment

Brian Perry is an Attorney in Labor and Employment Law. He chose this field because he values employees as unique human beings. He believes that laborers work hard everyday and each one is entitled to fair treatment under the law. Working can be hard enough as it is, without the added stress of discrimination, retaliation, etc. Brian loves practicing Labor and Employment Law because he can help enforce the values of fair treatment and respect for workers. 

Brian’s most fulfilling part of his job by far is having the opportunity to help people. Attorneys are first and foremost servants, doing everything in their power to help clients. When he is able to make someone else’s life a bit better, that’s a good day, and he has the privilege of making people’s lives better all the time.

He wishes that every client knew what a contingency fee was! People come to him and sheepishly ask “how much is this going to cost me” all the time, half expecting to spend their whole life savings. The relief he hears when he explains that in most cases the client won’t ever pay us out of pocket is palpable. He wishes everyone knew that because he is willing to bet some folks never call because they don’t think they can afford an attorney.

In his free time, he likes to do several things, but something he likes is spending time in nature. Lately he has taken up foraging for wild edibles (cautiously) because there’s just something so rewarding about using the plants found all around us, plus he has gotten some good jellies out of it!
